[Event] Gaia : publication of the second catalog

The cap of the billion stars in 3 dimensions is crossed : on April 25, 2018, the ESA will release the second catalog of the satellite Gaia. It results from a colossal work for which France played a leading role. An event to follow live on the Youtube channel of the Observatoire de Paris !

On Wednesday 25 April 2018, between 11.40 and 12.30, the Paris Observatory, in partnership with CNES, the CNRS, the Observatory of the Côte d’Azur and the University of Grenoble Alpes, will hold a press conference announce the opening of data access by the ESA of the second catalog of the Gaia mission.
