Résumé

ISTerre is involved in a start-up project which is currently funded by the SATT Linksium (Grenoble). The (patented) concept is to transform the iron contained in industrial ferrous wastes into nanomagnetite for a variety of high-tech applications. Here, we propose to investigate, in collaboration with SERPOL, a company based in Rhône-Alpes which is specialized in the treatment of polluted effluents, the capacity of the so-produced nanomagnetite to adsorb antibiotics. This collaborative project will take advantage of the scientific and analytical skill of IGE with respect to antibiotics aqueous chemistry.
