Résumé

My PhD work, started in March 2018, deals with “Regional climate variability in connection with solar energy resources in West Africa”. I wish to be part of the 5-week European Research Course on Atmospheres (ERCA) during the next winter school session. This school is a high level and multidisciplinary international course on the Physics and Chemistry of the atmosphere of the Earth, the climate system and climate change, satellites and objects of the solar system. Most of these courses provided by the school are directly related to the proposed research work for my PhD. My primary aim of joining this winter school is therefore to my scientific knowledge of the atmosphere and processes occurring in it and to apply this in my PhD research work. Participation in this school will also be a good opportunity for me to expand my network by meeting new people from different cultural and academic orientations.
